Note that you'll probably have to do this out in pirate or teladi space, otherwise you'll have some angry locals shooting up your station and ships. The most profitable stuff tends to also be more expensive to setup, but if you're brave I'd also look into setting up a space weed/space fuel complex. Once you have endless ecells though, you can attach whatever you want as well as factories to produce their building materials and then you'll have endless goods to sell. This will supply endless ecells, but requires about 45 million credits to set up. If you have a lot of stating capital, you can set up closed loop factories by attaching a SPP, Silicon Mine, Crystal Fab and Food factories. These factories and their goods are all pretty cheap, so don't expect a huge income right away, but set them up all over the place and you'll be making some decent cash. Link them together, then assign a ship to buy ecells and another to sell food and you'll start making money. For example a cattle ranch and a cahoona bakery for Argon sectors, or a bio gas factory & a bofu lab for Boron. Then buy a food factory and a food source factory in the same size matching that sector's race. Find a sector that has a lot of non-food factories (weapon and shield factories, ect). You can start a couple cheap food complexes and make a decent profit if you place them in the right sectors. If this is your first complex, I'd keep it simple.

Are you looking for full, closed loop complexes or just factories bundled together? Closed loops are far more expensive to set up (45 mil+), but will supply their own materials and therefore make more profit in the long run.
